Solstice Underscore 2008 - Stolzenhagen (modified score/jam)

Harvest (Maxine Saborowski)

surprise surprise! - Finally more than 45 people found their way to the
beautiful countryside and met for the solstice-jam in Gut Stolzenhagen. We
synchronised with the global timetable for arriving and connecting, for the
small dances at the beginning and the ending and for the sharing-circle at
the end.

I would like to share a very satisfying observation that I made during the
practice: In the beginning, I was lying on the floor at the edge of the
space, bonding with the earth, lying on all four sides. In this moment of
stillness and immobility, another participant, Peter Aerni, passed by,
walking. I felt his locomotive movement in contrast to my stillness, and
continued with my focus on bonding, lying.
After a while, Peter passed by again, walking in the same direction as
before. Suddenly I had the impression that in the meantime he has been
walking once around the globe, once around the whole earth. I was still in
my immobility, he was still walking. In fact, he (probably) has been walking
once around the large dance space.
When I shared this image with him, he showed me a little stone he found on
the way to the studio before the practice: It was a little white pebble with
a circle engraved.

Thanks to the Paris team for coordinating!!!
Maxine
