I am a dance artist and educator with a somatic orientation and a c.i. addiction who moved to the U.S. in 1991 and returned to Brasil for a 9-month sojourn in November 2007.
March 2008 update:
So far I have attended a jam in Salvador, Bahia, and the Contact In Rio festival. It is a budding but enthusiastic community down here. It seems that C.I. tends to blend with Biodança in style, purpose, and structure in Brasil. There is beauty in cultural adaptation. Simultaneously, more information on the basic principles of C.I. are needed as the community here grows quickly and fervently!
