Contact Improvisation's 36th Birthday Celebration

After a small workshop experimenting in creative ritual using subtle communication, movement and intention (titled “collaborating with nature”) I came up with the following proposal:
We have worked some with the idea of making connections across some distance. We can acknowledge an interconnection that exists beyond constraints of spatial proximity.
As a group, we are favorably placed (Vermont Utah Texas New York Massachusetts Maine) to do collaborations that explore connections spanning great distances.
I suggest that we come up with a group procedure, & pick a time, when we could do some kind of natural dance--cross-country celebration ritualistic whatever. Each of us work in our own locality, alone or with others, and also work together as a distributed group: collaborating with common intention & process. Communicate & do whatever we come up with, a shared structure completely simple or more elaborate. Different locations could be functionally different (e.g. representing different senses, or developing organs of Gaia) or conceptually similar, either way we will all function together in some way. Each local contribution would be site specific & also connect to each other site. I think that we might invite others too.
I hope this idea strikes your interest & look forward to more ideas. Please share thoughts and feelings about this suggestion. An interactive hashing out of ideas seems essential.
Further thoughts:
This cross country collaboration with nature is intended to align with healing earth energies. The project is intended to help generate a network of communicating, sensitizing humans cocreating with nature and with one another; higher helping energies and entities are hoped for and invoked. I am intrigued by the concept of organs of gaia in development. Perhaps action towards developing an earth based group level superconsciousness expressing (being) faculties of desired healing & enrichment. I envisage us each having a local natural collaboration where we begin to develop, or represent, some as yet unknown faculty or organ of gaia. Choose some process or structure that we enact (either ephemeral or longer term) toward: earth healing, awakening, interconnection & fun. Possibities are wide open & I'm excited by the thought of all different local enactments which interconnect in ways expected & unexpected. A first thought for me involves cohealing contact with humans & trees, with appeals to nature spirits & such.
That was years ago. I was not persistent enough in my e-mail proposals to get that group together on it then, but I have been exploring with a small non-local ensemble (Ithaca Milwaukee Montreal) using cell phone & internet during the past year. It has been beyond my expectations and quite intriguing.
I propose to get together a group that will be at the celebration at Juniata, who hopefully make some small non-local interconnection before the event, who each bring a non-local connection (i.e. active contact with some distant dancer) together into a jam/lab.
